At 14:00 on March 8, international passenger train No. 353/4 departed from Manzhouli Railway Station in Inner Mongolia bound for Zabaykalsk, Russia. This marks the resumption of international passenger train services from Manzhouli to Russia by CR-Harbin after a six-year suspension, injecting new momentum into ice and snow tourism and economic and trade exchanges.
To ensure efficient and smooth customs clearance, CR-Harbin has comprehensively upgraded its service and support measures. Manzhouli Railway Station has renovated and upgraded its international waiting hall, added multilingual guidance signage and consultation counters, simplified ticketing and customs clearance procedures, and established coordination mechanisms with border inspection and customs authorities. These measures save passengers nearly one hour in clearance time, enabling fast entry and exit and more convenient travel.
